Note according to Sec. 51 BRAO (German Federal Lawyers Act):

According to the German Federal Lawyers Act lawyers are required to hold professional liability insurance with a minimum insurance amount of 250,000 EUR. Further details are contained in Sec. 51 BRAO (German Federal Lawyers Act).

Lawyers of Mock – Rechtsanwälte also acting as Notaries, are admitted as Notaries in the Federal Republic of Germany and are members of the Berlin Chamber of Notaries (Notarkammer Berlin) as competent admission and supervisory authority.
