Kai-Uwe Opper’s practice focuses on corporate and real estate law as well as public commercial law.
After completing his legal training and working as a research assistant at law firms in New York and London, he began his career as a lawyer at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in 2016. Kai-Uwe Opper joined MOCK Rechtsanwälte & Notare as a lawyer in 2021. In 2023, he was appointed as a notary public with official residence in Berlin.
In corporate law, Kai-Uwe Opper advises on formations (especially start-ups), subsequent capital increases and financing rounds, as well as the purchase and sale of shares and companies. His expertise in real estate law includes advising on the conception and implementation of real estate projects, including WEG and property development. Kai-Uwe Opper has, inter alia, advised a nationwide real estate group in connection with the Berlin rent cap and the socialisation initiative. He has published articles on various topics.
